How do I sign in with Google?
What to expect during sign-in and what to check if the browser does not return to OkuORT.
Quick answer
Open the sign-in page, select Google and complete the flow with the same Google account you used before. Restart from OkuORT if an old sign-in session has expired.
Your study history is associated with your account. Use the same Google account each time so that your tests, decks and progress stay together.
Follow the sign-in flow
- Open the sign-in page and choose Google.
- Check the Google account shown in the browser before continuing.
- Complete any verification requested by Google on Google's own page.
- Wait until the browser returns to OkuORT before opening a test.
Enter your Google password only on Google's sign-in page. OkuORT does not ask you to paste passwords or authorization codes into a study form.
What if sign-in expires?
Return to the OkuORT sign-in page and start a fresh attempt. An old Google tab can contain an expired session. Check that your browser allows the cookies needed for sign-in, and avoid changing between localhost and the deployed website during the same attempt.
Why is my progress missing?
First check whether you selected a different Google account. Logging out and signing in with the account you originally used is a better first check than creating another account. If the problem remains, note the time and visible error, without sharing passwords or session tokens.
